ORDRE DU JOUR:
Art. Ier. Immédiatement après l’entier paiement du mois de thermidor an 7,le payeur général mettra en réserve, tant dans sa caisse que dans celles de sespréposés, la moitié de toutes ses recettes.
II. Cette moitié sera destinée à payer les cinq mois de solde de l’an 7, dus en ce moment.
III. Il est expressément défendu aux payeurs divisionnaires de faire aucunpaiement de solde pour l’an 8. Ceux qu’ils pourraient faire resteraient pour leur compte.

THE COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF ORDERS:
Article I. Immediately after full payment of the month of Thermidor, Year 7,the General Paymaster shall set aside, both in his own treasury and those of his deputies,half of all his receipts.
II. This half shall be allocated to pay the five months of back pay from Year 7,which are currently owed.
III. It is strictly forbidden for divisional paymasters to make any salary payments for Year 8. Any such payments made will be at their own risk and responsibility.]
