Overprinted postal stationery (postcard) from KALLITHEA (ΚΑΛΛΙΘΕΑ ΑΘΗΝΩΝ), 10 July 1942, to KATO FOURNIS village (ΚΑΤΩ ΦΟΥΡΝΗΣ), Crete. Rates: Domestic postcard surface mail (since 15 May) – 7D. Although the restriction to write in German applied only to outgoing mail from Crete, the sender here wrote in German to be on the safe side. In any case the restriction was lifted in late Summer 1942.
